We also offer Glue-Laminated Beams, perfect for applications where solid
timbers are not practical.
Glu-lam beams are stocked in long lengths for fast shipment.
Manufactured from kiln-dried stock, glu-lams are dimensionally stable, and
virtually twist and warp free. When long lengths and high strength
requirements are indicated, glu-lams have a higher strength-to-weight ration
than steel, and are much easier to modify on site. glu-lam beams are an
excellent choice where sold timber is not practical. Harmony
Timberworks can also produce glu-lams in curves or arches. Standard glu-lams
are sold in Douglas Fir and Southern Yellow Pine with other species
available on a custom basis.
We specialize in custom tallies of solid sawn timbers. Our timbers are chosen with special care to limit visual and structural defects. All timbers are available in finished surfaces of hand-hewn, rough sawn and smooth sanded. S4S timbers are milled to 1/2" under size. Additional sizes and species may be available.
